Introduction

Ms. Chu grew up in San Marino and attended Carver Elementary, Huntington Middle School and San Marino High. She graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and the University of Southern California with a Masters of Science in Education, Policy and Administration.

Ms. Chu has taught second, fourth, and fifth grade at Carver and enjoys teaching at her alma mater. This is her 22nd year of teaching. Her favorite subjects are math and science and her favorite songs from Carver include “Fifty Nifty” and the “Carver Pioneers.”

She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two cats. You will frequently catch them doing an outdoor activity on the weekends-Huntington Library, hiking, gardening, backyard games, etc.
