Dear 4th and 5th grade Carver families,
The 2nd of 3 Sessions of the "Coding Club" will run from 11/29th through 2/22nd. We will be using the online platform 'Scratch' to introduce students to foundational coding concepts. All participants are expected to have a great time building applications and games using block programming.
There are 20 first-come-first-served spaces and I will be selecting participants based on the following priority: new 5th graders, new 4th graders, repeat 5th graders, and repeat 4th graders. These rules are in place to ensure that all 5th graders can take the coding class before moving on to middle school.
To provide equal advanced notice, the SignUpGenius registration page will appear to be informational only until a predetermined date and time. So mark your calendars to sign up at 7:00 pm, November 8th, when the system opens. These 20 spaces fill up very fast.

Good luck and I look forward to working with your children!
