Dear 4th and 5th grade Carver families,
The second session of the "Coding Club" is ready to begin at Carver Elementary School! We will be using the online platform 'Scratch' to introduce students to foundational coding concepts. All participants are expected to have a great time building applications and games using block programming.
To provide equal opportunity, I will be opening up the signup system at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, October 30th. The sign up will appear to be full until this time. There are 20 spaces available and due to overwhelming demand, priority will be given to new 5th graders, followed by 4th graders who haven't yet taken the class. Parents will be informed on whether their children have secured a spot via email within 4 days.
If interested, mark your calendars to sign up at 7:00 pm, October 30th, when the system opens. These 20 spaces fill up very fast.
